Relevance. This article examines the development of a system for monitoring the quality of teacher education in universities in the context of digitalization. Modern approaches to assessing the educational process are considered, including systemic, competency-based, and data-driven approaches, as well as the potential use of LMS, Learning Analytics, and electronic portfolios. An analysis of international and domestic experience in implementing digital monitoring tools is provided, identifying the advantages and limitations of their use, as well as key trends in the system's development. A generalized digital monitoring model has been developed that integrates formative and competency-based assessment, enabling the tracking of student progress, adjustment of educational programs, and management decision-making. Special attention is paid to the specifics of implementing digital monitoring in Kyrgyzstan, including issues of teacher training, infrastructure, and data security. The study confirms that digital monitoring is an effective tool for improving the quality of teacher education, ensuring transparency, personalization, and analytical depth in the educational process.
