Relevance. Oral fluid plays an important role in maintaining oral health. It contains various elements, such as vitamins, minerals, proteins, and other substances necessary for the normal functioning of the oral cavity. However, the influence of xenobiotic factors on the content of oral fluid can lead to abnormal element levels, which in turn can contribute to the development of various diseases. One of the most common diseases caused by abnormal element levels in oral fluid is caries. A lack of calcium and phosphorus, as well as an excessive concentration of acid in oral fluid, can contribute to the destruction of tooth enamel and the formation of cavities. As is well known, the physicochemical and microbiological composition of saliva affects oral health, as young children begin to develop teeth at the age of six. To determine the potential impact of these identified factors on the development of oral diseases, we evaluated the physicochemical parameters of oral fluid in fifteen-year-old children.
