Abstract

The main purpose of the research was to consider the professional motivation of students as the basis for their success in their education. Approaches to the definition of this concept were studied, which made it possible to define professional motivation as a system of values ​​and goals that motivate students to successful learning. The diagnostics of the professional and educational motivation of students made it possible to identify the most significant motives that have the greatest impact on the success of students' education in universities. That made it possible to formulate a motivational complex, depending on many factors, which are determined both by personal motives of successful learning and the ability of teachers to inspire and motivate students to become a good specialist in their field.
