Abstract

Relevance. This study focuses on the methodology of teaching Kyrgyz as a second language at the beginner levels (A1–A2) using a comparative (contrastive) approach. The relevance of the research is обусловлена the growing demand for effective methods of teaching the state language in a multilingual environment typical of educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. Particular attention is paid to learners whose first language is Russian or another language, which necessitates consideration of cross-linguistic interference and typological differences. The aim of the study is to develop and substantiate an effective model for teaching Kyrgyz at the A1–A2 levels based on a comparative analysis of language systems. The paper examines phonetic, lexical, and grammatical features of the Kyrgyz language in comparison with Russian, identifies typical learning difficulties, and proposes ways to overcome them. The research methodology includes the analysis of scientific literature, comparative analysis of linguistic phenomena, pedagogical observation, and generalization of teaching experience.
