STUDY OF MENSTRUAL CYCLE DISORDERS IN FEMALE STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITIES IN OSH CITY

Relevance. Menstrual cycle disorders remain one of the most pressing issues in gynecological endocrinology, as they reflect a woman's reproductive health, hormonal status, and reproductive potential. In recent years, there has been an increase in obstetric and gynecological pathologies and a growing number of newborns with various abnormalities, which is associated with exposure to unfavorable environmental, social, and psychoemotional factors. Among the risk factors, stress and emotional overload are particularly significant in young women. This study examines the influence of stress and emotional factors on menstrual cycle disorders in female university students. The study involved 200 female students from four universities. A questionnaire was used to assess menstrual cycle characteristics, levels of psychoemotional stress, and risk factors. The study revealed that a significant proportion of students associated menstrual cycle disorders with increased stress, emotional overload, sleep disturbances, and academic workload. The obtained data confirm the important role of psycho-emotional factors in the formation of menstrual cycle disorders in students and the need for timely prevention and correction of stressful conditions.
