CULTURAL REVOLUTION AND THE ENLIGHTENER BAZARKUL DANIAROV

Abstract

In the early years of Soviet power, much of the educated, multilingual, and capable local intelligentsia in Kyrgyzstan held high state positions within the republic. The first enlighteners and statesmen made significant contributions to the implementation of important socio-economic measures planned by the Bolsheviks, aimed at involving the population in socialist construction initiatives such as collectivization, industrialization, and the Cultural Revolution. It is well known that these individuals played a pivotal role in the development of their homeland. In every historical process, the role of individuals and their activities is crucial. This article aims to elucidate the cultural initiatives undertaken in the republic through the activities of an enlightener who actively participated in the implementation of the Cultural Revolution during the 1920s and 1930s. The results of the study identify several aspects of the Cultural Revolution during this period and highlight Bazarkul Daniarov’s active contributions, alongside other enlighteners, in advancing the Cultural Revolution across various domains.
