The article addresses the issues of improving the activities of the Civil Defense forces of Osh State University in emergency situations during peacetime. Based on the results of a comprehensive assessment of the Civil Defense forces readiness to act in peacetime emergencies, the expediency of optimizing the activities of the Civil Defense service is substantiated. Practical recommendations for improving the work of Civil Defense services have been developed and proposed.
