ILLEGAL MIGRATION FROM KYRGYZSTAN TO RUSSIA AND ITS CONSEQUENCES

The article deals with the problems caused by the illegal employment of Kyrgyz migrant workers in the territory of the Russian Federation, which are the same regardless of the region and are associated with a low level of legal literacy. Due to obstacles in registration at the place of residence, migrant workers are forced to resort to illegal migration, resulting in many problems. Although Kyrgyzstan is a full-fledged member of the Eurasian Economic Union, the majority of migrant workers cannot enjoy the rights stipulated in the agreement. The main reason for this is that most migrant workers do not know the requirements of the migration laws of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic. This has a direct impact on their legal status, the possibility of employment in accordance with the law, as well as the conditions of social adaptation. In this article, the results of the 2022 census conducted by the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, the results of two surveys conducted online by the authors "EAEU: Problems and Prospects of Kyrgyz Labor Migrants in Russia" (2023) and "Women's Migration in Kyrgyzstan: Causes and Problems" (2021) used.
