Relevance. This article analyzes socio-educational strategies for preventing pharmacy drug addiction among young people in the context of the digitalization of social relations. The relevance of the study is due to the growth of latent forms of non-medical use of psychoactive drugs distributed through digital communication channels. The aim of the study is to identify the key social and psychological factors in the development of pharmacy addiction and to assess the role of social media and instant messaging apps in its spread. Based on data from an anonymous student survey, it was found that the leading motives for non-medical drug use are emotional tension, stressful situations, and the influence of a reference group. The study identified common digital fraud schemes that facilitate the illegal circulation of prescription drugs, including fake online pharmacies, closed online communities, and pseudo-medical consultations. The results suggest a set of preventive measures, including educational and awareness-raising programs, the development of digital literacy, the involvement of families and young people, and the use of online tools for the early detection of addiction risks. The need for the integration of legal, medical and technological mechanisms in the system of preventing “pharmacy” drug addiction among young people is substantiated. The study is being conducted under a grant from Osh State University (D.31/24).
