PHILOSOPHY OF BECOMING AND METAPHYSICS WITHOUT A PURPOSE (HISTORICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL APPROACH)

Abstract

This article examines the cosmological and ontological conception of the world in the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. The central image is the metaphor of the "energy monster," representing being as an endless process of becoming, devoid of beginning, end, and telos. Nietzschean philosophy rejects traditional metaphysical structures such as causality and purpose, and in their place introduces the concept of the world as a flow of forces in which there are no fixed points of support. The idea of “circular joy” is analyzed as a positive attitude toward a world without a predetermined goal, where happiness and meaning are not determined by external criteria but are manifested through the process of becoming itself. This allows for a rethinking of key concepts such as fate, form, and meaning, moving beyond conventional metaphysical constructs. The study also examines philosophical resonances in Martin Heidegger, Gilles Deleuze, and Jorge Luis Borges, whose ideas continue and develop the insights of Nietzschean ontology, offering new horizons for understanding being as an infinite, transformative process, devoid of final goals and meanings, yet rich in possibilities for creativity and self-expression.
