THE PRAGMATIC MEANING OF THE BLESSING

Abstract

The article discusses the pragmatic meaning of the blessing. The blessing is widely used in our daily lives. In the views of the Kyrgyz ethnic group, there are such concepts as faith in the blessing, faith in the power of words, influence, achievement of results, and others. The blessing lives in people as a ready-made formula, executed according to the circumstances of the current situation.

The pragmatism of blessing is always accompanied by repetition. The addresser repeatedly uses several imperatives to bless the addressee. The structure of the blessing is pronounced in the form of songs, and depending on the specific use, is divided into individual and general.

The pragmatism of blessing is unique in its own way. The blessings have their own order: the one who blesses or gives the blessings alone - the one who receives the blessing; the one who gives the blessing - those who receive the blessing; those who give the blessing - those who receive the blessing (a large number of blessing and blessed), sometimes the one who receives the blessings in the distance.
