COOPERATION OF XINJIANG WITH CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES IN THE FIELD OF OIL AND GAS

Abstract

The article is devoted to oil and gas cooperation between China and the countries of Central Asia. Favorable, clear conditions for such cooperation are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the problems and factors limiting oil and gas cooperation. The prospects for oil and gas cooperation between China and the Central Asian region are predicted. In recent years, the activity of some countries in Central Asia has noticeably increased. This is due to the fact that there is a change in the geopolitical situation in the region. The presence of China in the oil and gas industries of the Central Asian states seems to be ambiguous and ambiguous. On the one hand, China has made significant strides in penetrating these and related industries. On the other hand, this has not yet led to the formation of equal and mutually beneficial relations between the PRC and the Central Asian states. At present, two powers, Russia and China, are being put forward as contenders for the leading roles here.
