THE FUNERAL TRADITION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE KYRGYZ PEOPLE IN THE SOUTHWEST OF THE FERGANA VALLEY)

Abstract

In this article, it was written about the area of use of the burial tradition of the Kyrgyz in the south-west of the Fergana Valley. The author tried to determine that the ceremonies in the Kyrgyz funeral tradition have a great significance in everyday life. Burial and memorial rites are an important part of Kyrgyz traditional culture and religious beliefs. Despite many religious innovations, animistic beliefs in funerals continue to hold significance in the spiritual realm. Therefore, the burial tradition remains a relevant topic in the study of ethnic culture. It became known to us that funeral rituals are the only important tradition in the life of Kyrgyz people. Methods: During the study of the funeral tradition, mainly theoretical and empirical research methods were used. Conclusion: Kyrgyz ethnocultural features were determined through the use of rituals in the Kyrgyz funeral tradition.
