Abstract

The growing interest of domestic and emerging literary scholars in the personality and work of Sylvia Plath as one of the iconic figures of American poetry of the twentieth century. Аs well as the need for a more thorough, holistic, in-depth study of the implications and readings of the poetess's heritage determines the relevance of this study, which aims to highlight the key motive structures in her poetry and small genres, to analyze them and the relationship between them. Almost the entire body of Sylvia Plath's poems over the decade of her active work rests on the motive structure of the female world. The key motive of this structure is the motive of the female creator.
