INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "MODERN APPROACHES AND TECHNOLOGIES IN MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION" (SEPTEMBER 12-13, 2025)

Abstract

The article highlights a significant anniversary event — the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Approaches and Technologies in Mathematics Education," organized by the Department of Technologies for Teaching Mathematics, Informatics, and Educational Management of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Technology, and Information Technology at Osh State University. The conference was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Meilikan Altybaeva, Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, and Associate Professor (September 12–13, 2025). The article analyzes the celebrant's contribution to national education and describes the key stages of her professional and scientific career. The analysis of M. Altybaeva's works demonstrates that her methodological expertise, gained over 55 years of continuous professional activity — including extensive leadership experience in various university departments such as the Department of Mathematics Teaching Methods, the Academic Department, and the Department of Quality Education and Accreditation at Osh State University — is reflected in numerous textbooks and teaching manuals widely used in the higher education system of the Kyrgyz Republic. Having risen from a rural school mathematics teacher to a department director at Osh State University, the celebrant continues to share her accumulated experience with colleagues and postgraduate students.
