ROLE OF A TRADITIONAL KYRGYZ FAMILY IN UPBRINGING CHILDREN

Abstract

In this article, on the basis of field materials and sources, the role of the traditional Kyrgyz family in the upbringing of children is investigated. The transfer of the accumulated knowledge and practical experience of the Kyrgyz people to the growing generation was also considered. The main goal was to characterize the specifics of traditional upbringing and the role of the family in upbringing. Based on this research, the following methodological work was carried out: analysis of ethnographic materials on the role of the traditional family in upbringing; survey and interviews with senior informants, comparative analysis to determine the general and specific qualities of traditional family education. As a result, the role of the family in upbringing, many proverbs and sayings related to upbringing are described.
