NATURE OF KAZAKH-KYRGYZ ETHNO-POLITICAL RELATIONS IN THE LATE XV - EARLY XVI CENTURIES

Abstract

The article examines the history of relations between Central Asian state formations and peoples at the turn of the XV - XVI centuries. In particular, through the prism of ethno-political relations of the Kazakh khanate formed in the middle of the XV century with the state of Shibanids and the Mogul state, an attempt to study the comprehensive relations of the Kazakh and Kyrgyz peoples is undertaken. The first mentions of the Kazakh-Kirghiz political unions during the reign of Tahir Khan were studied and analyzed, the formation of allied relations between Kazakhs and Kirghiz against the rulers of the Yarkend Khanate.  The formation of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz political alliance in the context of political events of the beginning of the 16th century in Mogulistan is also considered. The mentioning of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations in the works of researchers of that time and later authors during the reigns of Buidash-khan, Togum-khan and Hak Nazar-khan.
