Abstract

This article is about educating schoolchildren about patriotism through historical novels. The most catastrophic danger of today's society is young people, which is becoming a permanent trend, evident in their attempts to connect their homeland, land, and destiny with life in other countries. Society perceives this as a temporary phenomenon related to the economy, and we do not give it serious importance. We are forced to accept it as a bitter truth that the majority of a whole generation is looking for their future in a foreign country, and they perceive it as the main goal to obtain the citizenship of that country. In the Kyrgyz society, it is very necessary and important to implement real pedagogical measures to develop good feelings, religious needs, beliefs and concepts of the youth towards the motherland, which become skills and knowledge. Historical works considered in this article belong to literature lessons as well as to the entire educational process, which makes it necessary to take into account the methods and methods of teaching and upbringing formed in those two local areas
