HISTORICAL TRAUMA IN THE FOCUS OF COMMEMORATIVE PRACTICES: SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

The article examines the problems of historical trauma in the context of the implementation of the state historical policy, considered in the context of perpetuating the memory of the victims of the Nazi policy of genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. The article explicates the relationship between the political instrumentalization of historical trauma and the process of constructing national and state identity. The article considers the risks of establishing control over the connective space of society and commemorative mechanisms, the implementation of legitimation and identification functions of social memory in the context of the political instrumentalization of the past. The article identifies, classifies and examines the most common commemorative practices in modern Belarusian society, the subject of which is the phenomenon of genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. The work evaluates the content and effectiveness of commemorative practices in the context of preserving historical truth, the formation of citizenship and patriotismпо мотивации, пропаганде и формированию ценностной ориентации на здоровый образ жизни.
