Abstract

In this article we are talking about European borrowings in the Turkic languages. In modern linguistics, there has long been a tendency to refer to European borrowings in the Turkic languages, but few scientists address the issue of Turkic penetration into European languages. Let's consider one of the pressing problems of our time – the names of money. This is especially true in connection with the rejection of some countries from the world currency – the dollar. And this means that a new world currency is emerging right before our eyes. And what it will be called is the scope of our competence.
