around Mâverâünnehir and lighten up Muslim World through there, generally uses Imam Maturidi‘s methodology. This methodology appreciates reason besides naql and eases understanding of religious topics. Imam Maturidi has a new vision on kalam topics especially on knowledge and prophecy and provides a secure base for Ahl-al Sunnah kalam discipline against Mutezile and Sia. Follower scholars of him like Ebü‘l-Muîn en-Nesefî and Nureddîn es-Sâbûnî oppose external traditions as Christianity and Indian religions or internal traditions as Mutezile and Sia and defend Ahl-al Sunnah itiqadi tradition. In this article methodology of Maturidi and scholars who follow Maturidi way by reference to fundamental topics of kalam discipline is going to be debated and also this methodology‘s position in kalam discipline is going to be analysed.
