COMPETENCE OF APPROACH AS A BASIS IN INFORMATICS EDUCATION

Abstract

Students need to know what competencies they will acquire when mastering the subject of computer science. They know what is special about computer science from other disciplines. They determine what competencies they will acquire as a result of the training. In order to be a modern specialist, it is necessary to know what competencies they have. They understand the basis of the competency approach in teaching. Competency approach is also important in teaching computer sciences, as well as methods of competence development were considered. When studying computer science, students are not limited to only theoretical knowledge, but also acquire relevant skills to become a competent specialist in the future. Students need to understand that competence skills will have an important impact not only in university, but also in family, among friends, and in future industrial activities.
