PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF ALGORITHMIC COMPETENCE IN SCHOOLCHILDREN IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING MATHEMATICS

The article discusses the importance of developing algorithmic competence in schoolchildren as one of the key components of their intellectual development. Algorithmic competence includes the skills of analyzing, structuring and optimizing problems, as well as the use of algorithms to solve mathematical and practical problems. Despite its relevance, the process of developing this competence within the subject "mathematics" has encountered difficulties caused by both the characteristics of the subject and pedagogical and psychological aspects. The purpose of this study is to analyze the psychological and pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effective development of algorithmic competence in students. The article is structured into three sections: the concept of algorithmic competence and its significance for general education; the second analyzes the contribution of psychological and pedagogical theory to its development; the third considers the practical aspects of implementing the conditions in school teaching of mathematics. The conclusion summarizes the results and develops recommendations for `teachers and educational institutions.
