Abstract

This article examines the genre peculiarity, uniqueness and ancient traditions of Japanese versification, is analyzed the semantic load of the tankа and hokku. Also considered are the translation works of Russian and Kyrgyz translators, gives a high
assessment of their translation activities, worthily accomplished intercultural mission in the modern multicultural world.
