Abstract

The article examines the reflection of movement, time and space in the epic “Manas”, shows the place of these concepts in small epics, compares their meanings, analyzes the rationality and dialectical connections of ancient Kyrgyz knowledge. The existence of such ideas in the views of the ancient Kyrgyz indicates that they had the first ideas about the properties of matter, movement, space and time. Although there is no direct association, attempts to explain the meaning of these terms are clearly visible in folk works. In the work, the content of the episodes is reflected in the limitations of matter in time and space. The temporal and spatial relations of the movement of things are confirmed on a dialectical basis. The essence of the Kyrgyz worldview was also analyzed at the empirical level of knowledge, not only with the help of knowledge gained from experience, but also with the help of thinking.
