KASYM TYNYSTANOV AS A TRANSLATOR

Abstract

Below we present to readers a previously unpublished article by the Kyrgyz national poet, writer, literary scholar, and public figure Salizhan Zhigitov. The author dedicates this article to the translation work of Kasym Tynystanov, one of the founders of Kyrgyz literature. In his article, S. Zhigitov analyzes Kasym Tynystanov's first attempts to translate Russian literature into Kyrgyz and their results. The author's style is fully preserved in the article and is presented without any changes.
