The article discusses the actual problems of human resource management in the existing professional environment, presents the results of the study of factors that form the motivation for attracting and retaining personnel in organizations. At present, personnel policy is increasingly becoming strategic in nature and is largely determined by the development strategy of the company in general and the strategy of personnel management in particular. An essential feature of strategic human resource management at the present stage is the consistent application of the program-targeted approach. This approach presupposes a clear formulation of general provisions, the definition of the object and subject of personnel management, the formation of the basic principles of the strategy, as well as the goals and objectives of the implementation of the personnel management strategy.
