Abstract

2 groups were formed from the daily broilers of the Competitor cross. The control group received the basic diet. The experimental group received enterosorbent Enterosgel (0.008%) during the first 3 days with the basic diet. Histological studies were performed at the age of 24, 4 and 49 days. Neutral goblet cells (GC) were detected using the PAS reaction, acidic GC – alcyan blue. The number of GC in the field of view was calculated and the density of the GC location on an area of 1000 microns was determined. The size of the villi and crypt layer was also measured. At 4 days of age, the value of the villi layer decreased by 14.2% (P <0.05) and crypts by 25.7%. In villi, the density of acidic GC increases by 71.8% (P≤0.001), and in crypts, the density of neutral GC increases by 83.8% (P≤0.001) and 80.0% (P≤0.001), respectively. At the end of the experiment, there was no difference in the size of the mucous membrane layers, the density of neutral GC in the experimental group decreased by 33.4% and 33.5% with high confidence, and the amount of acidic GC in the experimental groups increased in villi and crypts by 13.5% (P <0.05) and 22.3% (P<0.01).
