ON THE PROBLEMS OF TRANSCRIPTION OF THE ORIENTAL TERMS IN THE MODERN KYRGYZ LANGUAGE IN CYRILLIC SCRIPT

The article by Professor Tynchtykbek Chorotegin (Tchoroev) is devoted to the terminological problems of transcription and adaptation of the terms in different Oriental languages into the modern scholarly texts in the Kyrgyz language (in its Cyrillic script), avoiding mistakes of the current practice of the mechanical transfer of the Russian language terminology rules into the Kyrgyz terminology. The author urges to adopt the Oriental terms directly into the Kyrgyz language, which has more consonants and vowels similar to some Eastern languages in compare with the Russian language.
