This article presents a method for experimentally determining the universal gas constant for different gases using a virtual laboratory. The aim of the study is to calculate the numerical values of the universal gas constant based on the ideal gas equation and compare the obtained results with the theoretical value. A spherical vessel with a constant volume was used as a virtual experimental model. The initial parameters were pressure P₁ = 101000 Pa, temperature T = 293 K, and volume V = 0.003 m³. Virtual experiments were performed for air, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, argon, methane, ozone, acetylene, helium, and ammonia. The values of the gas mass changes corresponding to pressure variations were determined. The calculated values of the universal gas constant were found to be close to the theoretical value. The results confirm the reliability of the proposed experimental methodology and demonstrate that the universal gas constant does not depend on the type of gas. The obtained results indicate that virtual laboratories can be effectively used for organizing laboratory activities in molecular physics and thermodynamics.
