Abstract

The article contains a study of the religious beliefs of the population of Kyrgyzstan, in particular, the belief in “sacrifice”. In Kyrgyz ethnography, such religious beliefs have not been deeply studied, but they are one of the most important issues. After gaining independence, various religious movements arose in our country, which are still active. Even today, Islamic rituals and pre-Islamic beliefs are assimilated and widely used by the local population.
