THE REFLECTION OF NATIONAL CULTURE THROUGH LANGUAGE IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

This article examines the reflection of national culture through language in the context of globalization and its social significance. Language serves as the primary tool for preserving the history, culture, worldview, and mentality of a people. The cultural values, traditions, and spiritual heritage of every nation are conveyed through linguistic units. Proverbs, sayings, and phraseological units are highlighted as essential linguistic means that reflect the life experience and philosophical outlook of a nation. The article analyzes the impact of the globalization process on language and culture, exploring how the national mentality is expressed through Kyrgyz proverbs and idioms. Furthermore, it addresses the issues of preserving and developing the national language, emphasizing that protecting the language is a vital way to safeguard national identity in the face of globalization.
