The article examines the relevance of quality education as a key factor in sustainable societal development. Issues of access, quality of education, and preparation of qualified specialists are analyzed. Indicators and directions of state and societal work to improve the educational system in Kyrgyzstan are discussed. Statistical data and tables reflecting achievements and challenges are presented. Measures to enhance the effectiveness of Sustainable Development Goal 4 implementation are proposed.
