INVESTMENT IS THE MAIN FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

The article examines the economic meaning of the term “investment” in the agricultural sector. Investments in the agricultural sector are considered to be promising investments that help generate stable long-term income as agricultural products are strategic in nature. This means that in a modern economy, investments in the agricultural sector are the most profitable and important. The structure of attracting investments in the agricultural sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, the total share of investments by region, are analyzed. Investment potential is revealed based on the factor approach. The features of investing in the agricultural sector of the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic are given, and their problems are noted. Recommendations were also given to increase investment attractiveness in the agricultural sector. It was proposed to work with various projects to improve the efficiency of investment in the agricultural sector. State reforms in the field of investment in the agricultural sector of the state are considered.
