GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG CAUCASIAN BREEDS OF DIFFERENT INTRABREED TYPES

The article presents experimental data on the study of the growth and development of young animals of various intrabreed productive types of sheep of the Caucasian fine-wool breed. The research was conducted in CJSC Krasny Partizan of the Novouzensky district of the Saratov region, the methodology of the work is based on Methodological recommendations. The results of the research showed that the descendants of wool-meat and meat-wool productive intrabreed types grew and developed better than their peers, and this is necessary for further breeding of Caucasian sheep in the Volga region.
