Abstract

This article discusses the works of foreign historians on the problem of industrialization that occurred in the 20s in our country. In addition, we are talking about the benefits of this process for Kazakhstan and its social consequences. In the Soviet government, this trend was studied unilaterally. Only the positive side of industrialization was written there. At the same time, in Western countries, historians were critical of this process and widely recorded its harmful side. Now sovereign Kazakhstan has an opportunity to study this process extensively. In this regard, the previously mentioned opinion of foreign historians has
been widely analyzed. This article discusses what foreign historians wrote about industrialization and its consequences.
