DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AS A SOCIAL PROBLEM IN TODAY'S KYRGYZSTAN

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of domestic violence in the Kyrgyz Republic. The authors analyze in detail the characteristics of domestic violence, the types of domestic violence and the forms of ill-treatment. The factors of the origin of domestic violence, the contingent of abused persons and the impact of domestic violence are studied. This article contains statistics on the topic under study. The problem of violence is a multifaceted and ambiguous phenomenon in a socio-historical context, and the relevance of this topic is undeniable today. The authors emphasize that domestic violence is the most important problem of modern society. Whether we are ready to recognize this fact or not, violence exists everywhere, in different countries and cultures, within the framework of family relations and relations between children and parents. Elderly people, children and women become victims of domestic violence. Stress in life, depression, stress, lifelessness, unemployment, loss of family values and moral values, as well as a significant increase in alcoholism and dependence form a productive basis for the emergence of a certain type of violence. At the end of the article, the authors draw conclusions about possible solutions to this problem.
