Abstract

: The article deals with the topical issue of legal regulation of marital relations with persons under the age of marriage. The concept of "exceptional circumstances" leading to marriage before the age of 16 is revealed. The article discusses the peculiarities of the marriageable age of minors in the republic. The authors investigated the reasons for getting married before reaching puberty. The documents required for submission to the registry office at the conclusion of marriage by minors are systematized. The authors draw the following conclusions. The conditions for lowering the general minimum age of marriage for persons under the age of 16, as well as for older minors, should be regulated at the State level.
