ISSUES RELATED TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN

Abstract

Relevance. The article deals with violent crimes committed in the family, their nature and the reasons for the occurrence. The authors note that crimes against personality are crimes that adversely affect the life, health and physical integrity of a person. There are four types of domestic violence - physical, sexual, moral (psychological) and economic. The article reveals problematic issues related to the updating of family violence against women and children, presents statistics on violent crimes in the family and household sphere, and analyzes problematic issues related to the victimological prevention of family violence against women and children in law enforcement. The reasons for family conflicts, such as, for example, from jealousy, revenge or personal hostility, alcohol or drug conflicts, as well as conflicts with a mental disorder, are classified. The authors focus on the problems of the relationship of the personal rights of women and children, and also point out the difficulties of realizing their personal rights. It is established that every sixth criminal violence was committed against a person, which is obvious to the culprit, who is in a helpless state
