This article examines the archaeological monuments of the Great Migration Period located between the Sokh and Isfara rivers in the Fergana Valley. The history of the region's study, from Tsarist Russia to modern research, is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to burial mounds, their typology, burial rites, and inventory. The significance of these monuments for understanding the cultural ties of the region with other territories of Central Asia, as well as with China, Iran, Byzantium, and Sogdiana during the Great Silk Road era is emphasized.
