This article examines the history of the political party institution in independent Kyrgyzstan, focusing on the role and influence of «ruling parties». It analyzes the establishment of political parties after independence, their activities, and their impact on state processes. The main political parties, such as “Alğa Kyrgyzstan”, “Ak Jol”, “SDPK”, “Birimdik”, “Mekenchil” are discussed, highlighting their influence on the political elite and the governance of the country.
