ON THE ISSUE OF LEGAL ADAPTATION OF CORPORATE ENTITIES IN THE CURRENT CONDITIONS OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC (USING THE EXAMPLE OF JSC “NATIONAL ELECTRIC GRID OF KYRGYZSTAN”)

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of a significant topic in corporate law. In the context of macroeconomic instability and increasing natural and man-made risks in the Kyrgyz Republic, the issues of legal adaptation of corporate entities to emergency situations have become particularly relevant. Using the example of JSC "National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan," the authors analyze the current legislation, concluding that there is a normative framework that ensures a comprehensive approach to the resilience of economic entities. Based on the provisions of the Laws of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Electric Power Industry" and "On the Protection of the Population and Territories from Natural and Man-Made Emergencies," the authors examine specific legal mechanisms for restoring damaged property, procedures for damage assessment and planning of recovery measures, as well as the distribution of responsibility between the state and asset owners. Particular attention is given to the role of corporate governance in the adaptation processes through the development of sustainable development programs, investment and crisis management plans, and the improvement of internal regulatory documentation of enterprises. The authors conclude that the legal system of the Kyrgyz Republic creates conditions for the formation of sustainable models of corporate behavior aimed at reducing the vulnerability of power grid companies and increasing the effectiveness of crisis management.
