THE EUROPEAN UNION’S “GLOBAL GATEWAY” STRATEGY AS AN INSTRUMENT OF ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN CENTRAL ASIA

The article explores the European Union’s “Global Gateway” strategy as a modern instrument of economic diplomacy and sustainable development. It analyzes its role in strengthening the EU’s partnership with Central Asian countries in the fields of energy, transport, digital connectivity, education, and healthcare. Particular attention is given to the participation of the private sector, the environmental and social dimensions of the strategy. The study concludes that “Global Gateway” promotes European values, enhances energy security, and fosters regional integration based on mutual benefit and equality.
