Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the polymorphism of the histatherin gene (HSTN) in Holstein cattle. During our research we established that Holstein cows have the dominance of the A allele with a frequency of 70.24%. As the result of the research the genotypes AA (45.95%), AT (48.65%) and TT with a frequency of 5.4% were identified.
