THE ROLE OF TURKEY IN CENTRAL ASIA: KYRGYZSTAN'S PRIORITY IN TURKEY'S FOREIGN POLICY

The article examines the development of Turkey's geopolitical and strategic activity in Central Asia, with a special focus on Kyrgyzstan as a priority partner. The historical, cultural, economic and diplomatic factors underlying the bilateral relations are analyzed, as well as Kyrgyzstan's place in Turkey's broader regional strategy is assessed. Based on official documents, an analysis of foreign policy initiatives and regional cooperation, it is concluded that Turkey is playing a growing role in the region, where Kyrgyzstan occupies one of the key places in Ankara's multi-vector foreign policy.
