FROM THE IDEA OF CREATING THE KYRGYZ MOUNTAIN REGION TO THE FORMATION OF THE KARA KYRGYZ AUTONOMOUS REGION: SOURCE STUDY QUESTIONS

This article presents a study of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region in the context of the formation of Kyrgyz socialist statehood in the 1920s and 1930s. Using a variety of sources, including official legal acts, materials of party and government bodies, periodicals, Internet resources, scientific and historical works, the authors analyze the key aspects of this process. Particular attention is paid to legislative documents containing information on state building and delimitation of the region's borders. Collections of documents and regulations are a significant source of information on the decisions made and the motives of the authorities during this period. The use of the historical-comparative method allows us to understand the political and historical contexts of the formation of Kyrgyz socialist statehood, identifying key aspects of legal regulation and conditions for national state building.
